Compacting shaftless screw conveyor

Designed to transport viscous or fibrous materials that tend to accumulate and cause obstructions. The shaftless conveyor is the ideal solution for transporting and dispensing sludge or mud from centrifuges, compactors and mixers. The shaftless design provides the opportunity to transport viscose and thick materials without worrying about it clogging up the shaft. It also allows the conveyor to work when it is 100% full, which makes the conveyor much more efficient. And the simplicity saves both space and money.
The shaftless screw was designed for transporting sludge in the water residues sector. Due to its efficiency, it was later adapted for other sectors.
The shaftless conveyors that we use may solve our customers’ issues. Currently, with our technology, it is possible to substitute a traditional conveyor with a shaftless model.

Compacting shaftless screw conveyor benefits

Low operational cost:
  • There are no sealing joints, bearings, or ball bearings.
  • There is no risk of obstruction.
  • Fills the container 50% more than the shafted screw.
  • The conveyors can be horizontal, inclined or vertical.
  • Removable wear cover.
Occupies a small amount of space:
  • One end of the screw base is connected to the reductive motor. The other end is free, which allows an axial or angular connection to another conveyor and a direct transfer of the load.

  • Shaftless: Boxed design.
  • Conical exterior edge on the interior edge, apply the stress (compaction/lengthening) to the interior diameter.
  • Peripheral section of the Hardox 400 HB is wear-resistant.
