The spirals are manufactured individually from steel plate and are shaped into a spiral or a he-lix according to the diameter and pitch required so that they fit into helicoidal conveyor tubes.
Spirals can be provided in various types of ma-terials*, in different thicknesses, varying from 2 to 50 mm, different diameters and pitches. The spiral bears the same thickness as the one in the transverse section (1).
Materials
The materials used for their manufacture may be carbon steel, stainless steel, wear-resistant steel, etc.
